Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to speak to national troops in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. Zelenskyy announced that he met with fighters at the command post of the first unit of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Volatile Conditions in the Region

The status is precarious, with updates indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and building up positions in certain areas.
